Valentine and is annually celebrated on February the 14th Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in many regions around the world it is a day synonymous with love and on this date, people of all age brackets express their love in adorations for each other but it is more popular with the younger generation obviously, let's look at the historical background of this day there are many narrations regarding this festival the earliest one seems to be found in ancient Roman history Lupercalia was a festival local to the city of Rome on this festival names of girls would be written down on slips of paper and placed in an urn the city's bachelors would each draw a slip from the urn-like

a lucky dip and become paired for the year

with his chosen woman.

February 14th was the beginning of the birds mating season which added to the idea that February 14th should be a day for romance.
